Born in raised in Wichita, Kansas, Susie was a licensed real estate agent for 34 years. She was a member of the Wichita Board of Realtors, Kansas Association of Realtors, and National Association of Realtors. In 1995, Susie was awarded "Wichita Area Realtor of the Year'".
